Drugs stay in the hair permanently and proportionate to use, this makes hair the perfect medium for the above testing protocols. Psychemedics is also approved by the FDA for the collection and analysis of both head and body hair.

Urinalysis (narrow window) 3- 5 days

For use in a for-cause incident, random testing and in support of some alcohol testing. Urine testing has a long legal track record and provides a wider window of testing than oral Fluid. It is however a labour intensive scenario that requires controlled circumstances for the collection of the sample.

    Welfare Van       Welfare Container         Mobile Drug & Alcohol Testing

For those clients who have numerous outlets such as stores / shops on a national basis or simply remote locations. CSI has access to a fleet of welfare vans that can be single or triple crewed in order to visit single or multiple locations in a single or multiples of days. CSI also has access to welfare containers equipped with a private office, 12 person canteen, kitchen with hot cold water, heating, drying room toilet and silent run generator with 110 or 240 volt facility. These units are especially useful at construction sites, large industrial facilities, port authorities and more. Each unit can be available for days, weeks or months.

CSI Drug & Alcohol Testing Ltd announce the provision of a new mobile Drug & Alcohol Testing Service. Consultants vehicles will be equipped with:

  • The New Draeger 5000 Oral Fluid Analyser for mass / random screening services
  • The Draeger 6810 Breath Alcohol Analyser
  • The Wireless printer which works with both of the above units
  • The Psychemedics hair analysis programme with collection and chain of custody kits
  • The LGC Oral Fluid mouthwash kits for laboratory confirmation tests
  • The LGC Urine collection kits for laboratory analysis of urine samples
  • A complete range of training packages

Consultants vehicles will be able to visit client sites on a regular or single occasion to conduct a range of tests at the clients request. The vehicles will be provided for pre-planned operations as opposed to single call out for accidents or other isolated incidents. The consultants will be able to train clients own in-house staff to collect relevant samples in the event of isolated incidents thus eliminating waiting times and expensive call out costs.

Chairman Trevor Hall states: "This is an exiting project which will allow our clients to have regular visits from our teams to single or multiple locations on single or multiples of days across a variety of 24/7 shift patterns. Our teams can also deliver on the spot training to clients staff 24/7 as well as the recalibration and certification of Draeger product provided by CSI to our clients. It is my goal to provide commerce and industry with the best possible range of world class products under a single identity, point of contact and invoice. We work very closely with our alliance partners to ensure ongoing support and updates of scientific developments and changes in legislation on behalf of our clients."

The CSI mobile service is not available for emergency call outs for those companies who require such a service. CSI aim to manage completely the clients D&A programme and allow the client to become self sufficient and committed to providing a safe working environment with ability to respond rapidly to any H&S or HR incident.
